Phillips, Osborn 20 (1843 - ) Mustered in on 29 Aug 62; Wounded on 21 May 64 near Cassville, GA; In spite of this, he still mustered out on 13 Jun 65 with the rest of his company; Was he the Farm Laborer in Ross Co, OH;in 1870? There is an Ousburn Phillips born Jan 1845 who died 2 Dec 1875 and is buried in the Walnut Hill Cemetery in Franklin Co, OH--his Veterans' information show he enlisted on 9 Aug 62 and was discharged 13 Jun 63, so the dates do not match up; A Draft Registration record from 1 Jul 63 Pickaway Co shows him as a Farmer serving in the 90th OH (no age given); There is an Osburn Phillips who married Emily Watrous in Madison Co, 1866, probably the same Osborn Phillips, born about 1844 in OH who lived with Curtis and Jemima Phillips in Mt Sterling, Madison Co 1860 and is probably the same man who worked for Daniel Sutton as a Farm Laborer in Ross Co, OH

Smith in 1868; In 1870, he is a Journeyman Carpenter in Pickaway Co; In 1880, he is a Farmer in Pickaway Co; He filed for an Invalid's Pension in 1886; In the 1890 Census, his only complaint is Chronic Diarrhea; In 1900, he is a Day Laorer Died 23 Feb 1901 and is buried in the Beckett Cemetery, Pickaway Co, OH; He is the brother of Jerry Pursell in the next bio [Jacob spelled his surname Purcell, his brother spelled it Pursell]

Ramsey, James 30 (1832 - ) Mustered in as a Pvt; Would be appointed Cpl on 1 Oct 63; Was discharged on a Surgeon's Certificate of Disability on 23 Mar 65; Is he the James Ramsey born circa 1832 in PA who is working as a Farm Laborer in Pickaway Co, OH in 1870 with a wife named Mary and four children?; There is a James B Ramsey engaged in Angriculture in Pickaway Co in 1880, but I believe this is a different James Ramsey; Buried in the New Holland Cemetery, Pickaway Co, OH [Another record shows he is buried in the Waterloo Cemetery in Pancoastburg, Fayette Co, OH, but the headstone is in New Holland, but no dates]

Darling in 1867; In 1870, he is a Coal Miner in Jackson Co, OH; In 1880, he is a Farmer in Douglas Co, IL; From 1880 forward, he is lised as a Farmer in Jackson Co, OH; In the 1890 Census from Glen Roy, Jackson Co, he mentioned suffering from a Rupture incurred "on the march"; In 1900, he lived in Jackson Co as a Farmer; At the time of the printing of the 40th Reunion Book in 1902, he lived in Glen Roy, Jackson Co, OH; He died in Glen Roy on 16 Feb 1932 and is buried in the Coalton Cemetery
Robinson, Lancelot Samuel 34 (1829 - 1902) In 1850, he was a Teacher in Pickaway Co, OH; He went by his middle name; Born 4 Jan in Canada to John L. and Mary Anne (Williams) Robinson; Reduced from Sgt to Pvt on 14 Jan 63; Transferred to VRC on 31 Dec 63; Married Rachel Beckman Gray in 1853; In 1870, 1880, and 1900, he was a Farmer in Coffey Co, KS; In 1886, he filed for an Invalid's Pension from KS; Died 21 May 1902 in Coffey Co, KS, buried there in the Altamont Cemetery

Wilson, John H. 22 (1841 - 1905) I believe he is the John H Wilson, born circa 1841 [Feb 1841, according to the 1900 Census] in OH, living as a Farm Laborer with Matthew and Mary A Wilson [his parents] in South Bloomfield, Pickaway Co, OH and Mustered in with the company; Wounded on 21 May 64 near Cassville, GA, but still managed to muster out with the rest of the company on 13 Jun 65; Married Margaret Morris 1866 in Pickaway Co; In 1870 and 1880 he is a Farm Laborer/Laborer in [guess where!] Pickaway Co, OH; In the 1890 Census in South Bloomfield, Pickaway Co, he complains of something [Neuralgia?] and Piles; At the time of the printing of the 40th Reunion Book in 1902, it says he lived in South Bloomfield, IL [I think this is supposed to be OH, since South Bloomfiled is in Pickaway Co]; In 1900, he is a Widowed Pensioner living in Pickaway Co. with his 10 year-old son, Samuel, in the home of John and Hannah Green; Died 5 Jun 1905 in Pickaway Co and buried in the Harrison Cemetery in South Bloomfield
